Mount Hill Allotments
Colyton has an established allotment area at Mount Hill, providing local residents with space to grow fruit, vegetables, flowers and other produce.

Colyton Parish Council manages the allocation of its allotment plots and keeps a register of people interested in taking on an allotment.
Interested in an allotment?
If you would like an allotment in Colyton, please contact the Parish Clerk. The Council can advise you about current availability and register your interest if a suitable plot is not immediately available.

Email the Parish Council with your name, address, telephone number and a brief note explaining that you would like to register your interest in an allotment.

Contact the Parish Council if you have a question about your plot, tenancy or any changes you would like to make to your allotment.
Sheds & structures
Please contact the Parish Council before installing or making significant changes to structures on an allotment plot so that any necessary permission can be confirmed.
Giving up a plot
If you no longer wish to keep your allotment, please contact the Parish Clerk so the Council can arrange for the plot to be offered to another resident.
Community horticulture
The Colyton and Colyford Neighbourhood Plan recognises the importance of allotments and other forms of community horticulture. It supports the protection of existing allotment space and opportunities for additional allotments, community orchards and local food growing.
